A Girlfriends’ Getaway in Napa Valley

Napa Valley

Napa Valley

Old friends are the best friends <3

Happy Tuesday, friends! I got back late last night from a girlfriend’s getaway in Napa with two of my oldest friends. Faye & Moe & I met in junior high, and we’ve been through it all. The fact that we’re still in love — this many years later and across the distances that we’ve traveled, both figuratively and literally — is saying a lot.

I love ya, girls.

Anyway, the trip. It was a press trip, so I can’t share details. What I can share is some photos, and the fact that Calistoga and Napa Valley are as charming and beautiful as everyone says they are. If you’re looking for a fun place to see old friends, this is the area, my loves!

So until the fall — when the story comes out and I can share everything — please enjoy these photos of a fun time being had by all.

We DO heart Calistoga!
The place we stayed was quite charming, and had a front yard that looked like this.
Again with the charm.
So much stinkin’ charm.
Some solid pool time is obviously a must on any girlfriend’s getaway.
We even got mud baths, which was a REAL experience! (Not to mention a real treat!)

Such. Good. Food!
Are you sensing a theme?!
When you eat and drink as much as we did on this trip, it’s essential to get in SOME movement. We rented bikes and rode the Napa Valley Vine trail. It’s called balance, people.
And WHEN you ride 16 miles in 90-degree heat over rolling hills, you MAY end up looking like this. Totally worth it.
We also did a private wine tasting at a nearby winery, which was breathtaking and incredible.
Love you forever, ladies <3 <3

Our trip in a nutshell, friends. Until next time … bis bald, friends!
