Happy Monday, friends!

We spent this last weekend doing all the things, including spending a night in Fort Collins so that Chris could run the Equinox 1/2 marathon on Sunday. Lotte also attended her first college football game. (CSU may have lost, but the vibes were epic.)

All this time I was so badly manifesting fall, friends. See how I dressed in the photo above? Long sleeves. Pants.

Let’s go! I’m ready!

The weather, however, was not. Still, we had the best time in a place that we truly love to visit with some friends we truly love visiting. And now, our kids are finally in school for the full week! (Cue the illnesses … )

My best friend’s sister lives in Fort Collins and she has the coolest back yard. The girls love it there.
Lotte’s first college football game was so much fun!
Really, she was there for the music and snacks. Girl after my own heart.

We spent the night at my friend’s place because Chris ran the Equinox 1/2 marathon bright and early Sunday morning. We always have the best time spectating Chris’ runs, particularly as we eat snacks on the sidelines.

A ladybug at the finish line was a good sign.
Chris did great! He was super happy with his time, and I always love how proud the girls are seeing him in races <3

Next up is Chicago in a couple of weekends for the marathon! Chris feels ready, and we feel ready to spectate! (Well, I do, mostly because I will have three separate grandparents to help me kid-wrangle.)
